Invoices and PDFs
Open, download, print, and share a tenant's invoice, with a UPI QR code for unpaid bills.
Every bill gets its own invoice the moment it's generated — a document with your business details, the tenant's billing details, the rent due, and a way for them to pay.
Steps
- Open the tenant's page and find the Billing card.
- Select Invoice on any bill to open it.
- Select Download PDF to save it, or Print to print it directly.
- Select Copy tenant link to share the invoice link with the tenant (for example on WhatsApp).
Good to know
- An invoice shows your business details, the billed-to details, the unit, the rent (and late fine, if any) as separate lines, and the total.
- While a bill is unpaid and you've set a UPI ID in Settings, the invoice shows a QR code the tenant can scan to pay.
- Once a bill is paid, its invoice shows PAID and links to the receipt; a voided bill shows VOID.
- If a late fine is added after the invoice was first created, it shows "Revised on" the date the fine was applied.
- Invoice numbers are never reused, even for voided bills.
