Rental agreement
What's in a tenant's rental agreement, and how it gets signed.
Each tenant has a rental agreement built automatically from their details and your settings — you can view it, print it, and mark it signed.
Steps
- Open the tenant's page and find the Agreement card.
- Select View / print agreement to see the full agreement — tenant details, their building, room, and bed, rent, deposit, maintenance charge, due day, and your business address.
- The tenant can sign it themselves from their own app by typing their name; once they do, the card shows Signed.
- If a tenant signs on paper instead, select Mark agreement signed yourself.
Good to know
- The maintenance charge shown comes from Settings → Billing & receipts — update it there if it changes.
- An agreement can only be signed once, whether the tenant signs it themselves or you mark it signed.
