Buildings, rooms, and beds

Add buildings and rooms, see bed states, and edit rent per bed.

Your property is organised as buildings, then rooms, then beds. This article covers adding each of these and keeping bed pricing up to date.

Steps

Open Inventory (desktop sidebar) or the Beds tab (phone).
Select Add building and enter the Building name, Short code, and number of Floors.
Inside a building, select Add room and enter the Room number, Floor, Sharing (1-, 2-, or 3-sharing), and Rent per bed (₹/month) — rentJz creates one bed for each sharing slot automatically.
Each bed shows its current state: vacant, occupied, or on notice.
To change a bed's rent later, open the bed, update Rent (₹/month), and save — this changes only that bed's price going forward.

A building can't be deleted while any of its beds are occupied — move those tenants out first.
Rent is set per bed, not per room — after a room is created, each of its beds can be repriced independently.
