Accounting

See income, expenses, and net for any month, and export your records as CSV.

Accounting gives you a month-by-month view of what came in (rent payments plus any other income) and what went out (expenses by category), with the net for the month.

Steps

  1. Open Accounting (phone: More → Accounting).
  2. Use the month field and select View to see a different month.
  3. To log income that isn't rent (for example day use or laundry), fill in Record other income — category, Amount (₹), note, and date — and select Add income.
  4. To log a cost, fill in Record expense — category, Amount (₹), note, and date — and select Add expense.
  5. Select Payments CSV, Expenses CSV, or Other income CSV to download that record for the month.

Good to know

  • Income splits into rent payments and other income; Expenses break down By category.
  • Any money you owe (see Debts) is shown separately here and is never counted in income, expenses, or net.
  • CSV exports open cleanly in Excel and include every row for the month you're viewing. The Export ledger button on Collections downloads the same payments CSV for the period you're looking at.
